GPS & GIS Support
Warshaw Group develops solutions for many industries where location and position information is critical to performing field tasks. We meet the needs of these clients with Global Positioning Service (GPS) and Global Information System (GIS) solutions.
In the past, our clients had relied upon custom-built software or simplified development tools to collect GPS data with handheld devices. Our software allows for GPS acquired data to be automatically associated and stored with related attribute and field data for powerful and meaningful reporting and alerting.
GPS Support
Our Mobile Validity software contains extensions for GPS acquisition directly into the data collection application. Our software supports many different GPS devices including Trimble. We also support GPS post-processing on either a handheld device or on the server.

GIS Support
We support mapping functionality on handheld devices for times when GPS acquisition is not possible because of line-of-sight barriers or because GPS is not necessary or available for a project. GIS mapping functionality on the handheld allows our field users to determine their position in the field and associate that position with field data collection attributes by a sophisticated viewable map interface. Map data is stored with related field data for future reference, reporting, and alerting. We support both vector and raster map files.
